Red triangle or hybrid system warning. The master warning means the hybrid system found a real problem. Get it scanned before driving far.
Fuel economy dropped noticeably. Often the first sign the battery pack or a sensor is struggling. Worth checking soon, before it strands you.
Engine running more than it used to. If the gas engine rarely rests anymore, the electric side may not be pulling its weight.
No problems, just high miles. A battery health check tells you where the pack really stands. Good to know before a road trip or before you sell.

Hybrid repair costs vary a lot by model and by what the battery or system actually needs. Call with your year and model and we'll give you a real estimate over the phone.
Two systems, one car
A hybrid is a gas car and an electric drive sharing the work, and problems can start on either side. That's why we check both, the battery pack, inverter, and regenerative braking along with the engine, transmission, and brakes. A shop that only understands half the car can only find half the problems.
Where we draw the line, honestly
Hybrids, yes, all day. Fully electric EVs, no. Full EVs are a different platform with different service requirements, and we'd rather tell you that plainly than learn on your car. If we can't fix something, we'll point you to someone who can. That's how we run the whole shop.

DO YOU WORK ON FULLY ELECTRIC CARS TOO?
No. We service hybrids, gas, and diesel, but not fully electric EVs. If you drive a full EV we'll happily point you to a shop that handles them.
DOES A FAILING HYBRID BATTERY MEAN THE CAR IS DONE?
Usually not. Depending on the pack, options range from cell balancing to replacement, and either can be far cheaper than replacing the car. We'll test it and give you real numbers.
CAN A REGULAR SHOP REALLY SERVICE A HYBRID?
This one can. Hybrids need specific knowledge and tools for the high-voltage side, and we have both, along with everything the conventional half of the car needs.
DO HYBRIDS STILL NEED OIL CHANGES AND NORMAL MAINTENANCE?
Yes. The gas engine, brakes, tires, and cooling all need regular care just like any car. The electric side just adds a few items, it doesn't remove any.
