Knocking or loud ticking. Deep knocking can mean internal damage in progress. Stop driving and call us, every mile matters here.
Oil light on or steam from the hood. Low oil pressure or overheating can kill an engine in minutes. Pull over when it's safe.
Misfiring, shaking, or losing power. Often plugs, coils, or a fuel issue. Very fixable now, harder on your engine the longer it runs rough.
A small oil spot on the driveway. Usually a gasket or seal starting to go. Not an emergency, but worth checking before small becomes not small.

Everything we install carries a 1 year / 12,000 mile warranty, parts and labor. Tune-up or rebuild, same promise.
Engine work ranges from a simple tune-up to a full rebuild, so there's no honest one-size price. Call with your year, make, model, and what it's doing, and we'll give you a real estimate.
Catch it small
Most major engine failures started as something minor. A slow oil leak, a rough idle, a belt past its interval. Fixing those early is the difference between a few hundred dollars and a rebuild. If something feels off, coming in early is never a waste of a trip.
Gas or diesel, old or new
We work on everything gas or diesel except fully electric EVs. Domestic, import, work truck, family sedan. If it turns out your problem needs a specialist we don't have, we'll tell you and point you to someone who can help.

IS MY ENGINE WORTH FIXING OR SHOULD I JUST REPLACE THE CAR?
Depends on the car and the damage, and we'll tell you straight either way. Sometimes a repair buys years of life for far less than a car payment. Sometimes it doesn't, and we'll say so.
WHAT DOES A TUNE-UP ACTUALLY INCLUDE?
Typically spark plugs, checking timing and ignition components, and inspecting the parts that wear. It depends on your engine, and we'll tell you exactly what yours needs and skip what it doesn't.
HOW URGENT IS A TIMING BELT?
Very, if you're past the interval in your owner's manual. On many engines a snapped belt destroys the engine. Replacing it on schedule is cheap insurance.
DO YOU DO ENGINE REBUILDS AND REPLACEMENTS?
Yes, both. A rebuild is a last resort and we'll always look at cheaper fixes first, but when it's the right call, we're equipped to do it right.
CAN I BRING MY OWN PARTS?
Yes. We'll install them, but we can't warranty parts you supply. Parts we supply are covered for 1 year / 12,000 miles along with the labor.
