CAR AC & HEATING REPAIR IN WEST VALLEY CITY
AC blowing warm is usually a slow leak, not just low refrigerant. We find the leak and fix it so the cold air stays, instead of selling you a recharge that fades by August. Heater problems too, from heater cores to blower motors.

SOUND FAMILIAR?
WHAT YOUR AC OR HEATER IS TELLING YOU
Cold air that slowly turned cool, then warm. Classic slow leak. Refrigerant doesn't get used up, so if it's low, it went somewhere.
Sweet smell or foggy film inside the windshield. That can be a leaking heater core. Worth checking soon, before coolant loss becomes an engine problem.
Fan only works on some speeds, or none. Usually the blower motor or its resistor. A straightforward fix, and it matters for defrosting too.
AC works but isn't as cold as it used to be. Bring it by when convenient. We'll check pressures and the cabin filter and tell you what's actually going on.

WHAT HAPPENS AT THE SHOP
HOW AC AND HEAT REPAIR WORKS HERE
01
WE TEST, NOT GUESS
Pressures, temperatures, and a leak check with dye or an electronic sniffer. We find where the refrigerant went.
02
FIX THE CAUSE
We show you the leaking part and the estimate before any work. Recharging a leaking system just rents you cold air.
03
VERIFY IT'S COLD
Charged to spec and vent temperatures checked before you pick it up. Warrantied 1 year / 12,000 miles.
AC and heater pricing varies a lot by vehicle and by which part is leaking, so call with your year, make, and model for a real estimate. The diagnostic fee is waived if we do the repair.
Why we fix the leak instead of just recharging
Refrigerant doesn't wear out or get consumed. If your system is low, it escaped through a bad seal, a worn hose, or a damaged condenser. A recharge without a fix works for a while, then you're back where you started with less money. Finding the leak first is cheaper over any summer that matters.
Heat is a safety system too
In a Utah winter your heater isn't just comfort, it's what clears your windshield. Heater cores, blower motors, and temperature controls are all things we handle, and catching a small coolant leak at the heater core early can save the engine behind it.
GOOD TO KNOW
AC AND HEATER QUESTIONS WE HEAR A LOT
WHY IS MY AC BLOWING WARM AIR?
Most of the time the refrigerant has leaked low. It's a sealed system, so low refrigerant means a leak, and we find and fix it rather than just topping it off.
CAN'T YOU JUST RECHARGE IT?
We can, but if there's a leak the cold air won't last and you'll pay twice. We'd rather check for the leak first and give you the honest picture.
WHY DOES MY HEATER BLOW COLD AIR?
Common causes are low coolant, a stuck blend door, a failing thermostat, or a clogged heater core. We'll narrow it down before anything gets replaced.
HOW LONG DOES AN AC REPAIR TAKE?
A diagnosis and recharge is usually same day. Bigger jobs like a compressor or heater core depend on the vehicle, and we'll give you a timeline up front.
